Dado Topić

Dado Topić was born on September 4, 1949 in Nova Gradiška, Croatia. He started his career as a frontman and guitarist of the band "Đavolji eliksiri". In addition, he was a member of the bands "Dinamiti", "Time" and "Korni grupa". Soon after, he built a great reputation as a soul and blues musician. He recorded his greatest successes with the bands "Time" and "Dinamiti".

In 1972, with his band "Time", he released the first album on which most of the songs were signed by his name. The band had great success, but after a while they stopped performing.

Dado Topić has travelled a lot during his career. Austria, Germany and England are the places where he also created great music. Upon his return to Belgrade, Dado achieved great success with the song “Floyd”, which was the soundtrack of popular movie "Nacionalna klasa". Dado has always been present at music festivals, and in addition to Yugoslav festivals, he even participated in the "Singing Europe" festival in the Netherlands. Some of his most successful songs are “Da li znaš da te volim”, “Princeza”, „Bolji život“.
