Alen Islamović

Alen Islamović, born on 17th of August 1957 in Sokolac near Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a young man, he learned to play the guitar, which contributed to the creation of the band "BAG" in his student days, with which he once performed as a pre-band to the legendary "Divlje jagode". Already at one of the next performances, they invited Alen to join "Divlje Jagode".

The songs on the album "Motori", which brought great success to the group, were mostly signed with his name. Numerous successes followed, after which the band separated. Islamović then accepted Goran Bregović's offer to join "Bjelo Dugme". Together they recorded three very successful albums - "Pljuni i zapjevaj moja Jugoslavijo", "Mramor, kamen i željezo" i "Ćiribela". Since 1989, he has recorded 11 solo albums, as well as numerous singles. In the meantime, he formed the band "4 Asa" with which he performed for three years and released the well-known album "Nakon svih ovih godina".
